Aprovasco is a combination of two medications:

Irbesartan and amlodipine:

• Irbesartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB):

• This leads to a reduction in blood pressure, allowing blood to flow more smoothly to different organs and the heart to pump more efficiently.

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker:

• In the case of high blood pressure, it works to normalize blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels to reduce the pressure on them, thereby improving blood flow in the body.
• Enhanced blood flow throughout the body relaxes the heart muscle by reducing the workload on the heart. It also improves oxygen flow throughout the body, thus preventing any chest pain related to the heart.

Uses of Abrovasc:

• In the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension)
